SkillsCon is a career expo and job fair that showcases local manufacturing and construction career opportunities that are available in Butler, Clermont, and Warren counties. SkillsCon is focused to help 18-24 year olds, who are out of school and looking to take the next step in their careers. Local companies will be in attendance to highlight some of the exciting and unique jobs they have open, and we will provide support there to help you set yourself up for success!
What Can You Expect?
With over 50 employers in attendance, exhibition booths will be set up and staffed by hiring personnel who will be accepting applications and resumes on the spot. You will be able to ask questions, set up interviews and have assistance with interview and resume preparation.
Career Zones
There will be areas set up to highlight some of the unique careers offered at SkillsCon. Attendees will get to interact with employers in a way they never thought possible with hands on opportunities in areas such as: machinsts, robotic technicians, carpentry welding, HVAC repair, CNC programming and much more!
Career Assistance
Opportunities to gain technical insight, get advice on how to improve your chances during the job interview process, learn how to upgrade your resume and work to figure out what career is the best fit for you.
