CNC Machinists and Operators

Prestige Technical Services is currently recruiting to fill a multiple number of CNC Machinist positions. If your current position has you feeling underpaid, underutilized or you seek a different shift of shorter drive, you are highly encouraged to apply to these positions today.

These positions include:

·         Grinders- CNC

·         Milling- CNC

·         Lathe Operators- CNC

·         Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM)

These are non-assembly line operations performing advanced manufacturing of parts for the aviation, metal, medical and energy industries. The Machine Operators will operate state of the art, computer panel controlled (CNC) machining centers or machines to produce parts within tight tolerances.  You will be trained on how to make minor adjustments to the machining center via the control panel.

Your training will also include learning to be accountable for the inspection of your machined parts using measurement instruments such as gauges, micrometers, calipers and/or visual methods. The parts are accepted or rejected and then the results are shared both verbally and electronically.

Training may be available for candidates with strong mechanical abilities.

More experienced machinists may also set up jobs, run multi-axis machining centers and work on more intricate parts.
