IT Programmer Analyst EPIC Reporting

Job Specifics: Provides a senior level application of business requirements r/t reporting needs of the customer as well as integration with Crystal reports and SQL code. Provides leadership in the development of complex reports/extracts. Provides advanced technical expertise and integrates it with knowledge of the business. Can work with little to no supervision from initial project review and scope definition to final implementation. Participates in all areas of project life cycle, including: project definition, project estimating, systems design, computer programming, systems implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and documentation. Particular emphasis is placed on the implementation of integrated hospital/corporate computer systems

Experience: Must be certified in and experienced with an EPIC data model – preferably Professional billing and Ambulatory. Other EPIC certifications a plus. Must be proficient in writing complex SQL queries. Proven analytical and problem solving skills. Proven effective interpersonal communication skills when interacting with technical staff, management, customers, other employees, and physicians. Proven verbal and written communication skills.
