Mechanical Engineer Job Description

This individual will be responsible for developing and producing layout drawings that are related to the design and installation of company’s product lines

Will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings and specs to select the necessary equipment for a project

Produce drawings and equipment spec lists that meet the projects needs and safety codes using AutoCAD

Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure integrity and suitability

Provide field support to project managers, field personnel and design engineers

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Prefer 1-3 years’ experience as a mechanical engineer or designer with an emphasis on structural or mechanical design

Will consider recent grad with applicable internship or co-op

Experience with AutoCAD 2D, Revit and Inventor is a plus
